I’m a former science teacher, for the last three years a stay at home mom to three year old twins. I love to paint watercolors and acrylics), do lots of crafty things like make cards, gifts, art journals and sketch books. Basically if it can be altered with paint and or paper, I’m your gal! I am a displaced farm girl who loves all things vintage, rusty and farmey! This blog is where I share my love of all these things! Thanks for stopping by!

Hi – I found you through a comment on Cathy Z’s blog and had a question for you. But first, I love your site, it’s clean, and easy to navigate, and way cool on the creativity things.
Can you tell me, off the top of your head, what issue had the article about scrapping 200 pics in one night? If you don’t have the reference handy, no biggie.
I left my blog address but it will be kaput in the next 24-48 hours or so as I can’t renew at the moment.
Also, I’m intrigued about your physics background – how did you ever get into it, and teaching high schoolers about it?
Anyhow, glad I found your site!

Emily, thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment! All my pieces are for sale and that one is $35. I love your blog…very nicely done. And since you are local you might be interested in this group if you haven’t already checked them out: (I am the secretary) http://treasurevalleyartistsalliance.org/default.aspx
great way to get connected other artists if you are interested. Pam
I was searching for images associated with ‘visions’ when I came across the picture of your little creation. Then I read what you had written, and I was struck by the sheer gallantry of your making something beautiful in the few moments you manage to snatch….
I deeply admire this trait in people, because it means that they are making no excuses for not being creative, and for feeding the hunger for beauty which is the wellspring of creative life.
The whole story of the ‘little box’ was charming, warming and touching.
The world must be a much better place for having people like you.
Happy walking and happy blogging!
